Happy New Year!!! Welcome new baby and new studio!

2010 was an amazing year for Up-Do's For I Do's. We had so many sweet brides and we were thrilled to be a part of so many wonderful weddings! 

My husband Chris and I are happy to end 2010 by welcoming our new addition Brianna.

Brianna was born December 7th at 3:50am. I know many of our clients have been stalking the blog for a photo so here she is :) She is such an angel and we are so incredibly blessed! Big sister Brooke is very excited as well! Photo by Balance Photography! 

As we kick off 2011, we are looking forward to the grand opening of our newly expanded studio space. Construction officially began and we have plans to open early spring 2011. Until then we will continue to meet with our beautiful brides at our Catonsville location.

Nov 6: Rebecca

There is nothing more rewarding then to be invited back into a family's life to do another wedding! I had the honor of helping Rebecca's sister Jessica on her big day and was thrilled when Rebecca contacted me. I headed down to the Loews in Annapolis. The weather was perfect for a November wedding. Rebecca is a stunning bride and I throughly enjoyed spending the day with the girls!

October 10: Lindsey

Lindsey is one smart chick! She booked us early for what ended up being the biggest wedding day of the year! What a cool date ~ 10.10.10

Mindy and Amy prepped the girls for a fabulous celebration! Don of D.Bryant Photography took some amazing shots of the girls! There are a few more pictures on his blog too! 

Dan (DJ 5) of Beat 2 Beat DJs rocked this wedding too!

Ah....wish we could work with all of our favorite vendors every weekend :) Luckily, we get to see Beat 2 Beat and D.Bryant several times a month!

September 25: Jody

Have you ever met that person and everything just clicked? Well, if you met Jody you would get that feeling. Jody was a dream bride to work with all through her planning.  When Cara and I walked into to her hotel conference room I knew we were going to have a blast! Not only were each of the girls super appreciative and incredibly sweet but they were genuinely excited to be a part of Jody's big day. 

Jody and her bridesmaids get the award for best play list on an ipod for 2010! They had some awesome music and we totally jammed out to some good old school! I wish I could get a copy of it....might make working out a lot more fun :) 

Also, we can't forget to mention the super duper Jen from JLowe Photography. Another talented gal that I could spend hours with just chatting! Love her and love her work!

October 23: Annemarie

 Danielle and I spent the morning with Annemarie and her girls at the Governor Calvert House. These girls were super sweet and so laid back. I can't say enough how awesome our Annapolis brides are! It was also fun to run into Don and Jill of D.Bryant Photography. Love this team! I've never seen another photographer share, post, blog, edit, slideshow display or facebook photos as fast as Don. He is speedy and always provides instant gratification! Absolutely awesome and his service is top notch! Also, Dan (DJ 5) from Beat 2 Beat DJs rocked the wedding! Can't go wrong with awesome vendors :)

Glam the Dress!!! Alli's version

I did Alli's wedding September 2009. I had sooo much fun with her on the wedding day that I knew her Glam The Dress session would be great! As an anniversary present, Alli grabbed some fabulous accessories, pretty flowers and teamed up with some smart talented people :) Balance Photography shot her session and Up-Do's did the hair and make-up! It was fun putting a vintage spin on her hair and giving her a dramatic eye! Enjoy! These are phenomenal! I highly recommend doing a Glam The Dress shoot after your big day! It's always fun to put on that special dress again! 

 We took a quick break at Bean Hollow in Ellicott City. Alli changed her accessories :)
