Jam for the Animals

One of my dearest friends is producing Jam For The Animals on June 18th 11am -11pm at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. As a mom of two little pooches I couldn't resist spreading the word!

The proceeds benefit:

BARCS - Baltimore Area Rescue & Care Shelter
BARCS is a non-profit shelter that takes in 11,000 stray, unwanted and abused animals per year in addition to handling 35,000 animal welfare cases. While they are partially funded by Baltimore City they require huge amounts of fund raising and donations to keep their operation going.
MABB - Mid-Atlantic Bully Buddies
MABB is a small rescue and foster center for some of the most misunderstood and mistreated breeds: Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Bulldogs, Boxers and breed mixes. They were founded in 2002.
Rude Ranch Animal Rescue, Inc.
Rude Ranch was founded in 1997 and has made its goals finding permanent, loving homes for all adoptable animals; providing a safe haven and rehabilitation to feral and rescued cats; and ending needless euthanasia. Rude Ranch also aids feral cat colony caregivers with Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Release consulting.

Head out to Jam for The Animals and listen to the sounds of:

Check them out on FACEBOOK!

..and because blog posts are more fun with pictures, here are my little boys:

Mr. Lucky
Lucky is very loving and very busy. I like to describe him as a fish out of water.

Mr. Nyse (yes~ like the New York Stock Exchange)
Nyse was not super happy about this picture. It was during one of my "photoshoots" with all the kids. I wish I could clone this guy. Nyse really is the perfect dog. We like to think of him as gumby. We move him and he stays there. You can mold him into a comfy lap dog position and he won't move for hours.
