Watch out you crazy brides!!!!

Ha- This photo makes me laugh. A recent bride, a friend, a "should-be" model, and the bride's pro photos I'm dying to see ~ just emailed me this photo. One of her bridesmaid took it on her wedding day. She had the most beautiful hair accessory but as you can see it was hard for me to get it in. This was her email to me:

"I thought you'd get a kick out of this picture. You look like you are trying to spear that headpiece into my skull!! Such dedication!!! :)"

So for all of you brides out there- I promise I will do whatever I can to make your hair perfect- or if you piss me off I will spear your skull!!! LOL!

Miss Delaware 2008

I was so excited to be a part of Miss Delaware this year! I headed to Dover Downs in Dover, DE and hung out backstage with so many lovely ladies!!! These girls are as sweet as can be and just amazing!

I was able to sneak out while the girls performed their opening number and introduced themselves to the judges!!!
Here we are back stage prepping the girls. For the first night half of the girls did swimsuit and talent and the other half did on stage interviews and evening wear. The dresses these girls had were stunning!

Rachel's May 10th and Stacey's May 31st Weddings!!!

Danielle and I had the pleasure of working with Stacey on her May 31st wedding. Her family is incredibly sweet and we helped the girls get ready at the Tremont downtown! Here are some of her getting ready pics provided by Freed (Stacey works with them too)!!! Thanks Stacey and Congrats!!! You were an amazing bride and we enjoyed spending the afternoon with you!

And the final product...wow hot girls!!! Tina the bridesmaid to the right of Stacey was just married this past weekend! Happy Wedding to you too Tina!!! We had a blast!

And just for fun...after Stacey's wedding, the family (hubby and 2 puppies) headed to Rehoboth to celebrate my birthday with my parents and sister....We went to my favorite Mexican dive and they sang Happy Birthday in Spanish. Since they didn't know my name they called me "panchita". I've come to realize that at any Mexican place they always use "panchita". Pay attention and you will see I am right :)

Brides Maryland!!!

So I ran into Barnes and Noble Booksellers today to grab the latest issue of Brides Maryland because my friend Nathaniel from Balance Photography had a feature in it! Well to my surprise I'm flipping through and see my face (with Rissa from Balance) from an awesome networking event at Linganore Winecellers! The wine was fabulous and the food was delish! Here are a few of the pages from the magazine! Here is the pic of Rissa and I! We are right about the words "Rustic Chic". Good thing I did my hair and make-up:)Here you can see Nathaniel's really cool art- "A Work of Art!" It is called Assemblage and it is a very neat way of showing a single scene from different angles!!

Anita got married on a very rainy day. Despite the nasty weather - her hair held up (yes- I'm tooting my own horn) and her photogs got a great image of her hair and her very cool accessory!!! Thanks Anita for inviting me to be a part of your day!

Danielle and I traveled to Sandy on her big day in April! It felt as though we were hanging out with a long time friend. I didn't want to leave her or her daughter. I could have spent the entire afternoon with those very 2 cool ladies! Doesn't she remind of you of SJP?

Lindsay seriously had such fun hair!!! It feels as though we met so long ago to do her trial and I kept telling her...."let it grow and it will be sooooo incredibly awesome on your wedding day!" Great job Lindsay- I had plenty of hair to work with and I had such a blast creating this look for you!!! You are an awesome bride!!!
