Congrats Jenn!!

Here are some fabulous photos by the incredibly talented D.Bryant. Jenn was married in June at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club! We love the planners at the beach club! We are also on their preferred vendor list~ so they love us too :)   Mindy traveled to the girls and helped them have "beach-ready" hair. One of our challenges as hairstylists is humidity! Anyone who lives in Maryland knows that the weather can be hit or miss! Also, having photos taken along the beach can turn up a nice wind! I love to show off our completed work so that future brides can see how we perfect the hair to withstand the windy beach breeze as well as Maryland humidity during these summer months! Congrats Jenn! You and your girls were a pleasure to work with! 

Ahh...Don captured a picture of the back of the heads (most people wouldn't appreciate this photo like hairstylists do)!

Caitlin and Dustin ~ May 23

About 2 months ago I posted a sneak peak of Caitlin and Dustin's golf course wedding! Here are some more photos from the incredibly talented D.Bryant! 

Unlike So's blog post below, Belen and Amy set up shop at Caitlin's parents house. They transformed their dining room into a temporary salon :) We really can travel anywhere!

Meet Kayla! She has the most hair of anyone I know. Kayla was a bridesmaid in a wedding I did last summer and holy cow this girl has some hair! It is gorgeous too! Now Belen and I have both tackled her long locks! 

This is Amy's make-up kit. She is one of the most organized make-up artists I have ever met and worked with. Everything is neatly labeled and always put in its own spot. She is also like a walking MAC store- she owns everything! I've seen several ladies drool over her case of goodies!

Last but not least, meet Dan aka DJ 5 of Beat2Beat DJs. I personally attended the wedding and he rocked! The dance floor was packed and we all had a great time! 

I love to see dancing photos.....they always turn out so fun!

So- May 16th

Mindy and Chrissy went to a local BWI Hotel to help So and her girls get ready! So was a dream bride to work with and these photos show her amazing personality and beauty! Thanks to Laura at In His Grace Photography for ALL of these gorgeous images! 

I love the sequence of these photos! They really demonstrate what our company does! Many brides ask, "How does it work when you come to us?". Well here is a great shot that shows what we need and what we do when we come to a location that has nothing for a hair stylist or make-up artist. Typically we only need a table, a few chairs, and an outlet! We've turned hotel rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, etc. into our beauty space! 

When we have a large group of girls, we will rotate the bridesmaids, Mom's, flower girls, and the Bride between the artists. This way everyone is completed in a timely manner. I love this shot below! 

Yay for happy brides :)

Both Mindy and Chrissy told me how  much they loved working with So. Each wedding leaves us with a great story to tell! Mindy and Chrissy called me after they left So's wedding and said, "So had the cutest dog! But then the dog peed on her dress and she was totally fine!" You have to love when brides can laugh at silly things that happen on the wedding day! We've seen brides cry over a friend stuck in traffic, the shade of pink is wrong in the flowers, and the cake started to melt! Don't forget the reason why the wedding day is happening~ all so you can marry the man of your dreams! 

We finish the bride and her girls with enough time to spare so the photographer can capture some amazing images of the girls and guys too! Look at these incredible shots that Laura took! Thanks again for all the creative pictures!

I just wanted to say Thank you. I really loved my make up and hair on my wedding day. A big thank you goes to Chrissy and Mindy for doing a wonderful job. The bridesmaids looked so beautiful and both my mom's loved their hair. Although, the day went by so quickly. It was my wedding day and it was indeed one of my happiest days ever. I really appreciate everything and I highly recommend up do's for I do's! Thank you for making my day extra special.  And I didn't have alien hair... lol. Also, I was worried my lashes wouldn't stay on but they did!

 

Please let both of them know that they rocked! and how much I appreciated everything!

Ashley~ May 7th

When I met Ashley I knew I was going to have fun with her on  her wedding day! She was so much amazing and her family was so sweet!

Ashley and Nate had their wedding at Gramercy Mansion. This location is stunning! I've traveled here often and love the grounds! I would love to go stay there for a night just to get the "get away" feeling! 

Ashley's Mom was so incredibly cool! Ashley and her sisters referred to her as "The Cougar". 

I really enjoyed the time that I spent with the girls prior to the ceremony. We played hair and make-up! Here is the gorgeous bride!

Lisa June 13th

Just a quick post to give our congrats to Lisa and her hubby! Lisa was married at the Gibson Island Club. Elizabeth Bailey and Arthur Remanjon did a fabulous job with her wedding. I snagged these photos off of Arthur's blog! Love the scenery and Lisa's dress. Mindy and Belen helped the girls get ready for Lisa's big day!
