Charm City Bride

Ever need some local inspiration??? I came across this fantastic blog! CHARM CITY BRIDE 

I was intrigued and decided to email the founder and Editor-In-Chief Lauren Wenchel. She gave me some insight on how she started this fabulous blog. A friend was getting married and after researching Baltimore and its vendors Lauren found that she never came across that perfect Baltimore Wedding website. So in March 2009, Charm City Bride was created. She introduces up and coming vendors who provide great service as well as announcing local discounts, promotions and give-aways from Baltimore's best. I also love how she introduces Real Weddings with stories from Brides. In addition to the real life stories and photos, she displays inspiration boards for various themes and color combinations! Check it out! 

3 Weddings in a Row

Wow! Three weekends in a row we get to work with the famous D.Bryant!!! Since I am a stalker (and a friend on Facebook) I get to see his work immediately! Wow! He captured each of these pretty brides in their own unique gorgeous way! 

I helped Kate and her girls get ready for the big day on Sunday September 6th! We had a blast in the Presidential Suite at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis! I barely saw Don and Jill as I was leaving the ladies! Love Kate's birdcage veil! Perfectness! 

On Saturday September 12th, Danielle and I headed over to Kent Island to help Allison and her girls get ready for her big day! We have NEVER laughed so hard! My cheeks were sore from smiling and laughing! While Allison was entertaining herself, we couldn't be more amused by bridesmaid Tee. If anyone remembers Full House, Tee performed for us (and the night before with a back-up band) Uncle Jeese's "Forever". Incredible. I have to get it for my iPod.  Thanks Allison (and supermodel Tee) for a fabulous time! Your wedding is one to remember! 

ps- A secret to getting Allison's locks~ we pinned extensions in just to last for the wedding day! This gave her a little length and more fullness!

Dear Ashley and Danielle,

Thank you so much for doing the hair make-up for Allison and Andy's wedding. It was such a fun and relaxing way to spend the afternoon. The girls and I were all thrilled with our hair (even after we got wind blown)! Lauren was getting her haircut yesterday and a bridal party was there and she said they were soooo stressed out! Having you come to us was a much better plan. And you got to be entertained by Tee! Anyway thanks again for making us all so beautiful!

The last wedding in our streak was Samantha! Erica, Amy and Danielle headed to BWI to help her large party of 12 ladies get ready! They whipped up some fancy hairstyles and flawless faces all within 4 hours! Again, I've stolen some pics from Don's blog! He has more pics so be sure to check him out as well!

Spa Week Oct 12-18th

Who doesn't love a good deal?? Next month you should book yourself a special treat! Check out Spaweek.com to find a local salon. One of my very favorites is listed and is for new clients only. Check out LP at Image Creators in Severna Park. Tell her Ashley sent you! I've been seeing LP for about 7 years. She is by far the best ever! Bummed I couldn't use this special with her (new clients only). Anyways- if Image Creators isn't close to you, check out some of the others and enjoy a discount treat for all of your hard work!

Hotness.....After having a baby I'm so glad I had an album made for myself and my husband! Plus a boudoir shoot is just too much fun! Here are some photos from a recent shoot Amy did! I wanted to thank you and your entire team (Belen, Chrissy and Lori) for all the work they did on hair/make-up for my bridal party (July 25 in Annapolis).  Here are a few pictures!  I absolutely loved my hair and was so happy with the hair and make-up on all the girls.  Everyone loved their look, even my mom who never wears make-up!  We had so much fun and I'm really glad I chose Up-Do's For I Do's for my wedding day.  It couldn't have been better!

Here is what she thought of our services:

Danielle and Mindy were great!  They did such a great job making me and my ladies look amazing.  They were on time and totally flexible.  They even were able to fit in some extra unplanned hair and makeup services.   Everyone was so comfortable and relaxed..it was a completely stress-free morning.  We had the I-Pod playing and we were all just dancing in the kitchen and chatting it up.  My bridesmaids looked beautiful.  Their hair lasted the whole night...and let me say...they were on the dance floor the whole time.  The make-up was so natural and light...they looked like themselves.  My mom looked amazing!  She kept saying she looked hot....made me smile every time.  As for me...Mindy and Danielle were able to turn what I had in mind to a reality.  My hair complimented my birdcage so well. I loved it!  My make-up was flawless...my eyelashes stood out in every picture.  They were my favorite make-up feature.  I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup duo.  Danielle and Mindy were so much fun.  I am so happy that things worked out the way they did.  I will definitely recommend Up Do's For I Do's for future events.  I can't stop looking at the pictures....everyone looks so amazing...does that make me vain?! haha anyway....thank you so much for being a part of my wedding day.  You and your ladies are fantastic!
