Lauren ~ March 27th

Talk about a perfect day, bride, bridesmaids, family and wedding! I could go on and on about how much fun Cara, Beth and I had with Lauren and her girls this past Saturday! Not only were we surrounded by the sweetest people but we got to work with our dream team of vendors! I don't know another photographer who is so excited to see the photos as the rest of us! D.Bryant is amazing! He had these photos (which I admittedly stole from his blog) on his blog the next day! Incredible!!! I can't wait to see more from him!

We ran into Sarah from Intrigue Designs at Lauren's house! It was a special treat to see her! We usually only run into each other at bridal shows! The flowers and room set-up were phenomenal. Be sure to check out Don's blog for more of the wedding! Click the slideshow to see the room set-up!

Lauren and Mike had their celebration at one of our favorite venues! I really don't think there was a better Saturday in March to get married at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club

I love love love what we did with Lauren's hair! Gorgeous!!
Meg her BFF/MOH was awesome! She was extremely honest in all aspects of planning! That is exactly what a bride needs! A friend just like Meg. Doesn't she look like Carrie Underwood (wink wink Meg)!?!
Gorgeous gals! Look at their stunning bouquets!!

What should you wear when you are getting ready???

We recommend that brides and their bridesmaids wear something they can easily change out of so that their hair and make-up stay put! Most brides wear an oversized button up t-shirt. While this works just fine, it is not always the most flattering look in the getting ready pictures! Luckily we came across the perfect bridal sarong for the ladies!
The cozy cover-up features a lightly ruffled train and pretty satin sash.  The top has a velcro closure which is great if you have a strapless dress.  This way you do not have to wear a bra with straps.  Bra straps often leave red marks on the shoulders so having the velcro closure makes it super easy to avoid the unsightly marks. It's machine washable too!

We made National Headlines....

Have you ever wanted to see your name in big flashing lights? ME TOO! Well, we aren't there quite yet but we did make it big on Wedding Wire's blog! Woo Hoo! As you may know we are big fans of Wedding Wire. You can read real, honest, no bs reviews about all different vendors! For the past few years Wedding Wire, Fox 45 and the Baltimore Bridal Show have teamed up to host the Wedding In A Week giveaway. I'm sure you are sick of me talking about this but as the official hair and make-up artists I had to give some props to the Wedding Wire Blog! So here it is! Read all about it! Check out Mindy doing gorgeous hair :)

Just a little eye candy....and celebrating 100 weddings booked for 2010!

I promise that I'm not being lazy and not blogging. There is a lot going on here behind the scenes! We've been swamped at the studio and have some secret cool things happening. It's been a busy few weeks! We have truly enjoyed meeting all of our 2010 brides! We are prepping for wedding season which kicks off this weekend and we will officially be on-site Fridays-Sundays and therefore our studio will be closed every weekend! We will only be open on Wednesdays for trial runs and trials will be by appointment only! If you are interested in meeting with us, contact us soon! We just hit our 100 weddings booked mark so weekends are filling fast for 2010! We love to hear from you and can't wait to be a part of your big day! Don't hesitate to email with questions! We are here to help!

And just because I can't post without a pretty photo....here is one of Jen. She was one of Mindy's brides from Fall 2009. Isn't her hair color gorgeous? Love her hair piece!

Courtney ~ Another snow bride!

On December 5th it began to snow as I drove downtown Baltimore to help Courtney and her gals get ready. Courtney was as calm as could be and just a joy to be around! She had good music, great company and a glamours hairstyle! We were good to go! We had fun creating her unique look and it lasted into the wee hours of the night and held up great with the cold and wet snow!

The bride and her pretty girls....

The wedding went so well on the 5th, we had a fabulous time and my hair looked great the whole night. It even held up during some outdoor pictures in the snow :)
Warm Regards,
Courtney
