Inspriation: Realistic Expectations

I love this. I love it simply because it is true. So many people bring us images and photos of their inspiration pictures. Most of the time there is no way on EARTH that their hair is going to do that without professional help. The models and celebrities that you see in magazines are wearing extensions. Some have had their hair lifted via Photoshop. Or highlighted from a professional colorist and box color in your kitchen doesn't count as professional. It's incredible how much better your hair can look when lit with the perfect lights from talented photographers. The image you are looking at is a still. Remember you are going to be dancing, kissing, smashing cake and celebrating into the wee hours as a newlywed. One of the great talents that are our Up-Do's For I Do's artists offer is that we can go over all of these details with you at your trial consultation. Feature: Uncorked 2012

Last night was the oh-so amazing UNCORKED at the Baltimore Country Club. Every year the Baltimore Chapter of NACE puts on an incredible event for our industry. The best of the best come together to create mouth watering table designs. Judges judge and voters vote and then the awards are handed out. A big congrats to all those who won! If you make it through this entire post, you'll see a few snapshots of the tables displaying various bucket list items. 

Lindsay and I arrived early and started to set up shop in the Bride's Room to help out some of the committee gals. After several busy days, they deserved to be pampered and made over. We loved spending time with these sweet ladies!

 After changing into our cocktail dresses, we headed outside to the tents for some snacks and drinks. The tents were decorated beautifully and rain held off leaving a cool breeze in the air.

 The steel drum (Entertainment Exchange) guys were heaven.
