Happy Valentine's Day!

Wow....it's already fall and here I am posting about a Valentine's Day Wedding! This wedding was quite unique! Sabra and I met for her trial and she let me in on a little secret. In addition to myself, only her husband, the minister, and her maid of honor knew this secret so I felt very special! The secret......Family and Friends would gather to celebrate Sabra and her man's engagement. Little did the guests know, the engagement party would turn into their wedding day! What a better day to choose than Valentine's Day! Very celebrity-style :)

Sabra and the girls came to the studio to get ready. 

We kept their looks very natural and party-like. 

How precious is this little girl? She was as sweet as can be and just adorable!

She was so much fun and full of animation!

To keep the guests from the surprise, the girls wore their party outfits and changed right before the ceremony!

....surprise! It's wedding time!

Congrats Elizabeth!

Congrats to Elizabeth and her hubby! Here are a few pics from her June wedding! I love the pink flowers with the black dresses! Gorgeous!

Erica from Up Do's For I Do's was great!  She arrived early and was ready to get started on my hair, the five bridesmaids and the mother of the bride.  Erica really took the time to chat with each girl before beginning their hair.  She asked important questions about their style and then gave suggestions based on her professional opinion.  Everyone was thrilled with their up do's and the best part was... they all lasted all night! 

 

The communication with Up Do's for I Do's prior to the big day was also fantastic.  Ashley contacted me via email to set up my trial and to confirm all the details of the wedding.  I would definitely recommed Up Do's For I Do's to anyone!!

Bridal Show = Success!

Cara, Amy and I held down our fort at the Baltimore Bridal Show. This is one of my favorite shows of the year! Marc McIntosh puts on a great show! **Amy~ sorry I forgot to snap a photo of us!

Congrats Merica and Vince

One of the most amazing things about what we do is we become friends with a lot of our brides and their bridesmaids....last year I helped Katie and her girls get ready. I remember doing Merica's (Katie's bridesmaid) hair specifically because I thought she had the coolest name ever but also because of her sweet personality! As I was doing her hair she was telling me all about the beginning stages of her wedding plans. She told me she wanted me to do her hair so I told her to contact me ASAP since we book so quickly! We touched base after Katie's wedding and she booked us! To my surprise I had to do the hardest thing I've ever had to do and give her a call over the winter to let her know I wouldn't be able to be a part of her wedding day since I was expecting and would be delivering our sweet baby girl near her date. I was so bummed. I knew I'd be knee deep in dirty diapers and unable to attend the "getting ready" part of her day. Mindy and Belen along with Danielle filled my shoes and helped Merica and her girls prepare for the big day! 

So here it is, the stages of how we meet our awesome brides and their girls. This photo is from Katie's 2008 Spring wedding....

and now....it's Merica's turn! I was so happy Merica shared these gorgeous photos with us! Also, thanks again to Katie and Amy for allowing us to be a part of your own wedding. I personally have enjoyed meeting each of you and can only dream that all of our brides are as wonderful as each of you are!

FOX 45~ Wedding Week!!!

This morning we hit TV Hill in Baltimore to make an appearance on Fox 45 to help promote the Baltimore Bridal Show. We arrived to the studio bright and early to make over our model Ashley. Ashley was a recent bride of ours and we loved working with her so much that we invited her to tag along for our make-over. Amy provided amazing make-up while I did her hair. We were interviewed by Patrice who is very sweet! Here are some pictures from our morning! We had a great time!

Baltimore Bridal Show

It's almost that time...... The largest Bridal Show is coming to Baltimore on Sunday August 16th at the Marriott (Waterfront) downtown Baltimore from 11am-5pm. Be sure to come check us out!!! We will be sharing a booth with Beat 2 Beat DJs! You can come meet us all and hear about our $100 discount special! In addition to us being there, you will find some of our other favorite vendors (including bakeries, photographers, limos, honeymoon planning, etc).
