 We had a blast this morning at Fox 45! We helped kick off wedding week and promoted the Baltimore Bridal Show and The Wedding In A Week Contest.

Baltimore Bridal Show - Feb 5 & 6

Don't forget to come visit us at the Baltimore Bridal Show on Saturday Feb 5th 5-9pm and Sunday Feb 6th 11am-4pm. The show will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center downtown.

 This is a great show for brides who are just starting out with planning as well as brides who are shopping for their last vendor to complete the check list! We look forward to seeing you there! 

April 17: Neneilla

Shanna, Danielle, Amy and I headed over to BWI this past spring to help Neneilla and her super large party of 17 lovely ladies get ready for the day. The majority of this group was from out of town so we had fun welcoming them to Baltimore.

 I wanted to thank you again for everything you did for me and my bridesmaids as well as our moms, grandmother, and my aunts. I was so happy with my hair and makeup and loved the looks you and your staff created for the bridesmaids, and everyone else. All of us LOVED, LOVED our hair and makeup and we didn't have to worry about it once during the day, and our wedding lasted until 1am (that's well over 12 hours)! I have received so many compliments on the hair styles and even had a few friends take some of the pictures to their stylist to replicate the looks. Thank you for taking the idea in my head of the perfect look and making it come true!

What's Up? Weddings Fall 2010/Winter 2011

Danielle and I had a blast with Jessica and her girls for her December 30th 2009 wedding. We were thrilled to see her wedding and our work featured in the What's Up? Weddings Magazine. Fabulous photographer Wendy Hickok shot her winter wedding!

...and yes Stephanie does own sneakers! We are rubbing off on her and she's getting comfy around us! She's also marking the electrical outlets for each styling station.

Floor plans~ It's all in the measuring! I hope to never see another ruler or measuring tape once our doors open!

Meet Mike. He is super sweet and helped me get even more tile...they brought the strong crane (which causes them to close all the surrounding aisles) and pulled bundles for me from the top shelf. He grabbed the grout and loaded up my car...all with a smile!

Meet Glen. He is doing a fabulous job at making sure we have no issues with blowing any fuses between our hot appliances and Beat 2 Beat DJs bumpin' music.

Oct 30: Vickie

Amy and Beth spent an early morning at Turf Valley with Vickie and her gals for her Halloween weekend wedding. The day was beautiful and Vickie was flawless. She has amazing skin!  Check out some of the photos that our pretty bride sent our way! 

Brides voted, WE WON!

We can officially announce that after thousands of brides reviewed their vendors, we were voted BEST OF WEDDINGS by the knot. After years of our vendor friends winning this award we were thrilled to see the "beauty" category added. We were even more thrilled to find out that we won the first year this award was available for our category. Thank you so much to all of our brides that gave us excellent reviews! We couldn't have done it without you! 

Oct 23: Kara

Danielle and I headed out to Hunt Valley to spend the afternoon with Kara and her awesome family. These gals were loads of fun and had great ideas for their hair and make-up. Kara had her lashes done by our lash expert Amy and they looked phenomenal! Kara sent over her pro photos which were taken by Freed Photography. 

 

 Love this look we did for Kara's sister. She had a shorter cut and wanted to dress up her everyday style so we gave her soft waves. This is a perfect solution for someone who has a bob and doesn't want a Shirley Temple curl. 

 The gorgeous bride. You would never know but we added in a few layers of extensions to add a tiny bit of length and a lot of fullness! This is an affordable and easy solution for a bride wishing for a little more hair. 

Oct 22: Michelle

I met Michelle back in 2009 and had a great time being a part of her wedding. She and Brad had a small intimate ceremony in her parent's living room and then planned a larger party to celebrate in 2010. I was honored to be a part of both days. Below are some photos from their celebration this past October at the Tremont Grand. Balance Photography captured Michelle's beauty. You can just tell how happy she was that the celebration day was finally here. How awesome it is to marry the same guy all over again! Brad hadn't seen her in her wedding dress as she wore a different one for their ceremony in April 2009 so it was extra special. Thanks Michelle for inviting me to be a part of both days.

Hi Ashley,

I wanted to thank you for making me beautiful on my wedding day!  You were fantastic on the big day.  I received many compliments about my hair and makeup.  You were quick (ahead of schedule even) and incredibly sweet.  You really helped make my wedding day so much better, so thank you.

In fact, because I loved working with you so much, you have convinced me to hire you for our reception at the Tremont too.

Hey Ashley --

I wanted to thank you for everything!  I have always enjoyed working with you, and Friday was no exception.  You made me look gorgeous.  It was an incredible feeling to look so beautiful for Brad -- finally wearing my wedding dress and having amazing makeup and hair styling.  You deserve a special thank you from me.  Everyone said I looked like a princess, and I could not have done it without you.

I cannot wait to see the photos.  I know that Nathaniel and Rissa took some special ones of my makeup and hair for you.

June 12: Meagan

Since it's snowy and cold out I figure it would be fun to go back and post a summer wedding! Danielle and I spent the day with Meagan and her beautiful bridal party. Meagan is one of those girls that you can sit and hang out with for hours. She is full of energy and just a ball of fun! 

Meagan sent me over these pretty pictures captured by Dawn with J&S Productions. Since we are usually gone before the wedding gown goes on, we never know how the reception goes...luckily for both me and Meagan, I knew she was going to have an amazing party since she had Beat 2 Beat DJs to rock the dance floor. 

Another reason I love Meagan, she sent me a beautiful Christmas card! Super sweet of her and her hubby!
