Yesterday, we had the pleasure of being invited to Carla David's Wedding Planner Celebration. What an inspiring way to set off the new year!!

Brideside not only presented, but displayed beautiful bridesmaids dresses from their online collection experience.

The room was filled with floral and candle arrangements by Romance of Flowers. The perfect ambiance for the evening! 

So many sweet treats from Baklava Couture Catering were passed throughout the evening. The Chocolate cream cones were to die for!! 

Had to catch up with our friends Colleen O'Neil and Evelyn Alas!  

We "inked" our thumbs for this awesome tree and leave guest book!

Real Wedding: Loren and Marcie

You guys were absolutely amazing!  From the emails back and forth to the trial to the day of the wedding, I never once had to worry about how the girls and I would look.  I knew that everything would be awesome.  I felt so gorgeous the day of the wedding and it even made my crying face beautiful!

And all my best to Beth as I know she is engaged and planning her own wedding! Mindy was awesome. My hair was exactly what I had envisioned... And the girls looked amazing. Both were professional- they were easy to be around and friendly. Super personable and just GREAT at what they do...

1. Pick a powder brush

The powder brush should be soft and fluffy and have a medium dome so the powder is distributed evenly over your face.

2. Pick a blush brush

Your blush brush should have slightly angled bristles and be at least three inches at its longest tip to avoid streaking.

3. Pick a foundation brush

The foundation brush can be used as an alternative to your fingers or a sponge for applying liquid foundation; it should be flat and have stiff bristles that allow for sheer coverage.

4. Pick a concealer brush

Similar to the foundation brush, the concealer brush should have fine dense bristles that help cover blemishes accurately.

5. Choose two eye shadow brushes

A brush with small bristles should be used to apply shadow; a flat brush to blend the shadow.

6. Pick a brow brush

The eyebrow brush should have a tiny comb on one side and stiff bristles on the other.

Tip: In a pinch, you can use a toothbrush to tame your brows.

7. Pick an angled brush

Used for applying eye liner or for filling in your eyebrows, a thin stiff-bristled brush provides the most precision.
