I'll never forget Katie's smile. I met her years ago as she modeled for a friend's local business. I did the make-up and met a bunch of fabulous gals. Fast forward to 2010, Katie contacts me about doing hair and make-up for her wedding! I always love when people think of Up-Do's For I Do's even if we haven't seen each other in years! It is such a compliment! Anyway, Mindy and Amy headed down to Annapolis to help Katie and her girls get ready! Here are some of the pics that Katie sent my way! It is so rewarding when we get to see our happy brides on their big day!
Here Mindy is explaining how the veil goes in and out! This is a common adjustment on the wedding day! We will teach Mom, your BFF or even the flower girl how to do this. It's super simple and the veil can easily be put in and then taken out later! I always suggest to put your veil on last (as long as it's not complicated) so there are no last minute whoops! They catch easily on hangers, candles burning, red lipstick, etc. Play it safe with the delicate fabrics!
