It's shower time, which means all of your friends and family will come together to celebrate your upcoming nuptials. Whether you as a couple have lived together before your marriage or not, there are some must have's when registering for your gifts.
1. Pick a few stores to choose from. Having a variety of stores will help you not only cover everything you need from dishes to vacuums but help your guests' with different size budgets. Here are some great places to register that offer a variety of gifts!
2. Register for it anyway! If you see something you like and want to register for it, but are worried that no one would spend the money... don't fret! A lot of times, multiple people will go in together on a gift, so register for it anyway.
3. Shipping. It is important that you put on your registry where you want the gifts to be sent. Guests from out of town will mail you a gift from the registry if they are not able to come to the shower and or wedding. If you know you are going to be out of town, it's best to put an address where you know someone will be home to get your packages. For example, when Crate & Barrel sends you a package it clearly states the name of the store on the box. This can make it tempting for any person who is untrustworthy to stop by and pick it up!
4. Remember to write your thank you notes in a timely manner. :-)
5. Enjoy your goodies!
xoxo,
Lindsay
