The Venting Bride: Hair and Makeup Trials

A trial is a key part of your wedding. Why? It gives you peace of mind that you know what you will look like on the day of. It also helps the artist as well to make sure we know what you want and can take notes in order to replicate the look. When coming into the Up Do's For I Do's studio it is important to do a few things for your trials.

1. Bring pictures.  WE LOVE Pictures! It helps us understand your style, or the look that you are trying to go for.  We can take that picture and customize it so that the look is completely yours. If you have a picture of your dress, bring it. It can help us, help you decide on a hair style that will compliment your dress.

2. Be honest. You will not hurt our feelings if you don't like something. This is our profession and we strive everyday to be the best. Telling us what you like and don't like helps the artist accomplish the look you are going for. You are paying for a service and we want you to be thrilled with your look.

3. Get all of your options. Whether it's hair up or hair down, hair accessories to try out, traditional or airbrush makeup, now is the time to gather your facts and make your decision on what will be best for you! Your artist will have recommendations, but that's what they are recommendations. Whatever you decide we are happy to provide. Use this trial time to try out your options to help you make those decisions.

4. Bring someone. We ask that you keep to a minimum on bringing guests into the studio. On busy nights it is difficult to accommodate all of our brides and guests that they bring.  When choosing someone to come with you, it is best if you bring someone who will help you in your decision making.

5. Enjoy the experience!

At Up Do's For I Do's we love trial nights and can't wait to meet you in the studio!

xoxo,
Lindsay
